G'day Just doing a few little things to get my VL back on the road, and noticed my bushes on my rear sway bar are stuffed, and a "D Bracket" holding the front sway bar to the chassis on the RHS has snapped. So I went up to autobarn and got some Nolathene bushes for the rear so that's sorted. But with the D-Brackets, no spare parts or local wreckers have any. I've been on the American Autos website and they've got the following in the "VB-VL COMMODORE SUSPENSION FRONT & STEERING" section: A1537U BUSH S/B CHASS MOUNT OE BRT 24mm COM 15.26 A1538U BUSH S/BAR TO CHASS OE BRT 25mm COMM 15.26 A1539U BUSH S/BAR TO CHASS OE BRK 26mm COMM 16.50 A1540U BUSH S/BAR TO CHASS OE BRT 27mm COMM 15.26 A1541U BUSH S/BAR TO CHASS OE BRT 30mm COMM 15.26 I'm guessing that's the rubber that the sway bar sits in, and the D-Bracket fits around the rubber to the chassis. Question is, which size/type fits the front/rear bars? Is it a matter of taking the old rubber off and getting out the tape measure or does someone know off the top of their head? Also I'm assuming this part is the D-Bracket, and it's the same on the front and rear bars? KS6 SWAY BAR D MOUNT BRACKETS PAIR 10.60 Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

i think the wreckers are telling u fibs bro. U can pull one of those D brackets off the front of any vl at the wreckers. I could get u one tomorrow if i wanted to. Where in QLD are you ? Ollie
