was wondering what the quickest 1/4 time for a FULL street vl turbo was?? as in driving it from home to the track and back without touching A THING... fattest street legal tyres for vl's would be 255's ?? sound right?? thx for info...

My mate has pulled a 12.3 can't remember what mph he got but ran on ****ty Pirelli P6000 225,55,15's with original calais rims I think they were. He reckons it copped a fair amount of wheel spin. And the car is a auto. And I ran a 12.9@107mph on 225,60,15 Kelly Charger tyres on Interceptor rims that I just put on to burn out, very ****ty tyre at speed the car felt like it was wandering over the track, was a bit scary I must admit. And we both never touched tyre pressues ran street pressures 35psi in all tyres front and rear. But there is for sure bound to be a faster time ran on street tyres, our times are embarassing too many quicker cars these days, mind you have'nt raced for 3 years now.

yeah 12.3 isnt too bad...! any one know of 11's run with street tyres??? my friend bet me $10 that no vl turbo can run 10's with street tyres.... so have i won or lost?! surely its possible??

Low 11's would be a hand full, let alone 10's....there is no way not with street tyres......not 10's anyway
