I was wondering, if I have already got all the stuff (tank, guage, pipes, mixer... etc...) and want to put it onto a VL, do you guys have any idea what something like this would be worth to actually install?

alloy heads hate LPG! don't do it man, you'll be going through gaskets like no tomorrow.

I heard that if you run your car once a week for about 10 mintutes on petrol it coats the heads and is fine on gas.

Anyone know how much JUST to install without buying the necessary ewuipment? Or anyone here do it for a price?

Jazza, did you find out anything at all? I had a quote from a gas conversion company would be $1800 to add a gas system to a VL. Was wondering if I already had the stuff how much it would cost to just install it.

I heard of a place that will do it... Ask me for more info man. I haven't called them myself but a mechanic told me of the place.

yeh try a guy called marinus beimers. he lives down the road from me and he used to own a gas conversion company called LPgas 1 in lilydale victoria till he sold it. hes pretty cluey at that stuff and hes kind of retired so hed probobly do it in his spare time. if your serious on a quote sms me (glenn) [phone removed] and ill send you his number.
