Trevors VL Calais Turbo [GMHHSV]
This is Trevor's rather sweet VL calais turbo. It is painted in a custom black with blue pearl for a bit more sparkle. On the outside, a trio of gauges also draw the eye, as do a set of chrome 17x7.5" Venom rims.
On the motor side of things the 3ltr turbo is boosted to 12psi with a Turbosmart Type 3 blow-off valve to let everyone around know what he has under the bonnet.
Inside the rather lush looking calais resides a rather nice stereo as well as an Autometer Monster Tacho to watch the revs. The stereo consists of:
- Pioneer Dolphin Head Unit
- Pioneer CD Stacker
- 6" front splits
- 2x V12 Alpine Amps
- 7x10" Kenwood Rear Speakers and,
- 2x 12" Bullet Subs.
This is all run off a Oddessy battery which is located in the custom modified boot.
Also on the inside to keep Trevor entertained and improve the look and feel of the car is a Momo steering wheel and a Turbosmart adjustable boost controller between stock boost (7psi) and the high boost setting of 12psi. A polished half roll cage keeps him safe should the unthinkable happen.
Of course it's no good to have mad paint, real nice rims and a set of gauges on the bonnet if the car sits way too high off the ground, so Trevor spent some money making the sweet calais sit on its arse. This consists of K-Mac suspension and an Adjustable Panhard Rod keeps the diff centered and helps reduce any tyre scrubbing that is seemingly inevitable when you have large rims and lowered suspension on a VL.
While Trevor has also spent a fair bit on his ride, he still has some fair plans for it yet, mostly in regard to the motor. A big cooler and 3" exhaust are on the cards as well as a few other mods here and there.

update i sold it and he rapped it around a tree 2 months after he bought it to much power
