Hey mate thats sad to hear, Although i didnt loose my car, someone broke into mine that same time/ area - between 12pm - 5.30am Christmas Eve/Morning. Got back from town @ 5.30am to find Fusion 15 inch sub, and a Fusion amp. stolen. with my RCA's hanging outside of a closed boot. (Cheeky F*cks) No insurance on audio so extremely angry. They smashed the rear window. Stole my rear seats, head rests, power window controller, and some other bits and pieces. Stuffed around with the centre console and left my car looking a mess. I am suss because this got stolen from Cross Road. Approx. 200m from the Unley Pk train station. Which is a 2 minute drive from Wayville where the ute got stolen If any local adelaide boys hear of this **** selling on the street. buzz me [phone removed]. Cheers - Mike

sorry to hear 4 both people but did these cars hav alarms cos they must of been very lucky ****s to get away with it without nobody hearing anything. I would of thought a VU ute would hav an alarm and immobiliser standard WTF!! whoever stole that VU would hav been a pro. NO smalltime car thief would know how to steal one of those unless they had the keys. And as 4 the ****s that stole the stuff from the calais someone would of heard the back window smash u would think. MOTHER****ERS Hope u find the ****s and make them suffer.

Forgot to mention that thieves broke into the house, while we were asleep upstairs, took dad's keys, his phone, and my wallet, that's how they got the car.

still don't know what condition the car is in, can only asume that the insurance company picked it up from where it was dumped on Saturday, took it to thier depot to be sent back to melbourne today. Hopefully the old man will have it tomorrow. He really doesn't want it back. Especially because he's just had the engine rebuilt, it would've done 1400-1500kms tops. Now he'll never what sort of condition the engine is in, apart from doing a leak down test, comp test etc, I don't know what he's going to with it. I'll keep ya updated.

The latest is that the insurance company asked dad for the spare keys, so they have the car, it should arrive in Melbourne tomorrow. He also mentioned that after AAMI has fixed the car of any and all damage, they give it a five year guarantee, which is pretty damn good! This will include changing the locks and imobiliser etc.. He hasn't seen the car yet, doesn't know what damage there is, still doesn't know if any of the contents are in the back. more updates as they come to hand.

the latest is this. Dad has seen the car, it is now in at AAMI insurers being repaired, apparantly it's going to be a full rebuild of brakes, suspension, diff, whereas the gearbox and engine will have a load of tests done to ensure their reliability. The wheels were non standard and dad didn't tell them about them, but they are covering them, as all of them are stuffed. most of the stuff in the back was recovered except for a small tv(15 years old), two small stereos (brand new), a pair of brand new shoes ($265) a bottle bundy (half drunk), and MUMS ASHES. Can you fuc.ken believe it? why the fu.ck would they take ashes??? So c.unts do exist, and they reside in the Elizabeth area of SA. Fuc.k them. Thanks for all the support and well wishes guys, much appreciated. Karma is a bitc.h, and this is one case where mum will come back and bite them in the arse. cheerz morepsi

HOLY CRAP! What scum. I can't believe they stole that!! They are lunatics. WHat has this world come to. Hopefully they realise that the 'expensive vase' they stole contains ashes, put 2 and 2 together and hand them in or something. If not, put up a post when you find them and we can come visit....
