saw these both today out at south beach in the gong... CMI-30L - calais with ice blue over silver paint n dropped on 18" VY SS rims... AVL-04E (?) - full white exec/berlina, big cooler, polished FR simmons... any one got any info on these cars?? Steve

i dont know about the 1st one, but the 2nd one is AVL-04U. i went for a spin in this car about a month ago. goes like a bat out of hell. was running it in on 3-5psi. the car has been around for years. just copped a fresh motor/gearbox. will run 10's when finally tuned and finished.

what sort of gear is it running? sounded beefy for a 3L turbo.. Steve

it sounds like the AVL-04U new combo is being run in, and kept on low boost for the time being. A motor capable of running 10's is packing big hardware, and it is not unusual to see cars like this make 200 rwhp + in very mild early tuning stages, considering they will be making a helluva lot more power on bigger boost.

Anyone else see JETPSI? Look's like a gun car. I haven't seen it around up here, so he must be a Gong boy.

dont know for sure with JETPSI, but there have been about 3-4 vl's come out down here in the past 2-3 weeks, either turbo or ing v8. We have the largest amount of vl's per population down here in the gong.

just went through the gong today... seen a few nice vls... a vl calais with a lower lip kit, painted in a candy apple with VR clubbys n small fmic, seen WLD30T aswell and to others that i didnt get to see the plates of but one was painted in a two tone paint sceme... like blue print sorta colour over silver... cant remember the rest of the car as it went past the opposite way fairly quickly with a white over silver vlt Steve
