Was wondering if there are anyways of telling if the car was originally a calais... like engine no or printed somewhere or something.... or a couple of little things... thx

Check the ID number's on the firewall in the engine bay that tell's the truth...

yeah cant beat original id tags. but there are a million things u can also chek to make sure. i cant be ****ed listing them, they are all too obvious. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

While we are on this subject what is the ID Number if the car is LSD Diff from factory?...

G80 if its a not lsd from factory it'll be GM3 (and i've seen tha on ALOT more tags than i have G80 hehehehehe !!

what am i looking for on the ID tag on the firewall that distinguishes it from a standard VL to a Calais ??
