Well ive been out testing the new turbo and ive been trying to track down this burning rubber smell. After about 45 mins i found out my aircon hose is getting really hot from the turbo and melting. Mind you i dont have either of the two heat shields installed yet, so it may make a difference. Has anyone else come across this problem.

I also think that the aircon hoses have their own type of heatsheild around the hose? Might want to invest in some foil type heat shielding around the aircon hose if it doesnt - ive seen many factory cars with silver loom tube stuff. Hows the car going now? nearly on the road??
