See, I would have loved to have had a turbo from the beginning, but I don't like the idea of a 16 y/o with a Turbo..So I'll Give it a year or so and i'll go buy a calais turbo..
yeah good idea man. you learn so much **** in the first year of driving.
I had my non turbo for 2 years.... that was too long though

I'm just a really sik driver dude.
LOL, nah I've never crashed my car in anyway way shape or form...only lost it once or twice...but then again I lost my license already so that's what I'd be more worried about.
Get a standard VLT...You'll be fine.....get used to it then start to mod the motor...
If you get a n/a then want to start to Turbo the thing..you'll have to then worrie about the box and rear end...oo and stopping all cost money
Buy a VLT learn to drive that..when ya ready to mod the thing it will take awhile before you have to worrie about the above......plus ya get to save a bit of money for way more power
Id actually buy a corolla or somethign similarly gay for my first car...then save for somethign.
And i probably wouldnt get a VLT, probably a 180sx or a skyline. Maybe a s5 rx7 or something...
i planned the conversion 2 weeks into having my n/a...
i plan to convert it to a turbo in about 2-3 years but, coz i dont want hassels from the cops when i get my P's
but i know just coz it wont be a turbo that i will still get pulled over
I had my n/a for about 2 years before it ****ed me off enough that i went out and got a VL turbo.
Well actually I was looking for a nother car one year after owning the n/a, but i was too lazy at the time to do anything about it. But I have to say finding the right' VL turbo was worth the wait after all.
I've had my sl for probably two years now, but for the past year i've wanted to convert to turbo, its only now (when I don't have money) that i'm actually starting.
I'd love to have the cash to buy a calais.
I'd recommend to anyone that if they have the slightest thoughts of conversion, then to get a calais turbo to save you the effort and keep it genuine.
Yet I contradict myself and keep working away on my sl.. One day...
ive had 2 N/A execs and my current one i have had 4 about 2 years now. i am now in the process of buying all my turbo parts and getting the motor built, and yet it still will never be a genuine vlct even though it has almost got everything calais on it we will learn though one day...
