Did anyone see the news tonight showing the accident in Everton Park where someone was fatally injured in what looked like a red VL Exec, lowered with VR GTS rims. While its never good news I hope it was noone from our forums. If so my thoughts go out to friends and family.
yes mate it certainly was a red exec, it's right near where i live and i heard the bang. passenger was fatally injured, driver was quickly carted off to hospital, he didn't look too flash though. it appears as if the car was coming over the hill from north to south and lost it (it was pissing down rain, but he must have been moving) and crossed the road, connecting sideways with a telephone pole. not a pretty sight. sad to see such things happen, but the car would have had to have been going FAST for the amount of damage it had done to it.
i sure hope he wasn't someone on this forum.

I saw that. It was a red exec. At the end of the clip they showed a yellow commodore as well. Don't know if it was a VK or a VL but it was also smashed up pretty bad.
Sh!t, even worse if it was the passenger. I cant imagine it would be worth having on your consience for the sake of a little speed or some fun in the wet. Anywhere in the Brissy burbs isnt the smartest place to be speeding in the wet, especially there.
Oh well, its happened and its not going to stop happening. As I said in the first post- I just hope its noone from here.

yeah man that was the one, just over the hill towards town, not far from the school. who do you deliver for? one of my jobs (the least profitable one) is as a delivery driver.
I live only a couple of houses away and passed the accident not long afta 9:30... pretty freaky.
Hopefully someone hears something about the how and why of what happened.
seems like the guy was 2 or 3 years above me at ferny grove state high school, name was Josh Mangen. that's what i've heard, don't know if he was driving it or not though. don't know him either.

i just finished this year
both driver and passanger have now died.. "storm" was the other.. dunno who was driving.. unfortunate as he had a promising league career ahead of him till a few years ago when he was in a serious car accident.. and now another accident has claimed his life

Dont mean to be an asshole, but **** happens for a reason, and upon hearing about this. i was pretty confident it wouldnt have been Mr K. Mind u i was over his house that arvo anyway, so it was kinda confirmed once reading the forums.
