Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone on here got their cars damaged with the real bad hail storms lately... Cause i was at Lilydale yesterday and every friggin car i saw had atleast 30-40 huge dents all over their bonnets and roofs from the hail... To anyone who did get caught by it.. man i'm sorry to hear it!

Werd. My car's in getting sprayed atm anyway so all's well, but I was driving my mum's car last night and that was resprayed last week, so I was worried. Hail never got here though, so it was all good.

i was in boronia and we all survived. no hail near my place.

There is one guy who posted in the non turbo section and he got hit. His car looks like a golf ball.

Yeah, The reason why i posted this was because i saw an awesome vlt and it had dents all over it! it was quite a shame! but then i saw the ford dealer ship and i pissed myself! the salesman was out there inspecting holding his hands on his head! it kinda made it all better lol

Living in QLD for 2yrs taught me something useful about avoiding hail storms. If ever you look up at the sky and it's got a really eerie GREEN TINGE to it.... ENSURE YOUR CAR IS UNDERCOVER because it's gunna hail, if your lucky it will only be 'pea' sized hail.

yer, i knew sumshti was gonna happen coz wind was goin towards city (melb), this was strong wind, and the clouds was goin the other way. some**** when hot and cold air mix and u get a wikid storm.

Urgh, howe bad was that friggen storm - I was staning at my window watching my backyard flooding, it was nuts. When I saw my car though, no dints from the hail

bah it just started pissing down is syd, mascot area, dont think its hailing yet. meh

Hope nothing like that happens in Bris. I've got 2 cars that aren't undercover. I cud save one with blankets and quilts and a car cover but I can only save one.

get a tarp

ur car will still get damaged with a tarp. U need padding underneath

nah, don't just cover your car with a tarp, make a little shelter/ roof for it. bit of rope and a few poles.. hail hits tarp, falls onto ground near car.
