The lights on my VL are crap. I dont know if its the lenses that are causing the lack of light. I put 90/130w lights in and its better but for its age I thought it would have great lights, even the highbeam is not much advantage. Can anyone tell me wher I can get new lenses at a decent price please
And the wiring is ok b4 anyone asks
Thanks
If you want really good lights, it pays to have brand new ones !!
U can either get genuine holden lights for about $150 per light.
Or you can get non genuine (TYC) for example.. for $150 for both, however they dont come with wiring, so u'll have to put the existing wiring from ur old lights into the new ones, aftermarket brands dont fit the rubber caps aswell, but nothing a nice long cable tie couldnt fix.
New reflectors + new lenses + well adjusted low/high beam = a good set of lights. - use normal bulbs too, none of that blue/clear crap !!

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
The aftermarket TYC crap arnt much better. As i have them in my vl with the 90/100W globes and they r useless at night they look fairly new too.
And as exchaser said they dont fit as good. My right hand front light sits in alot further on the corner of the guard compared to the left.
I reckon ur probably better to get a genuine set either a good second hand set or if u have the money go for the genuine, cos the reflectors in the TYC brand arnt as bright and when they get too much heat around them they get really dull.
P.S. I had the original genuine in my first vl and i had no troubles with their brightness at night.
