How much will it cost to transport a driveable but unregistered car from melb to sydney and what companies would you guys recommend? Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

get a temporary rego from vic roads either the 24hour one which is free or the 1 week one which i think is like $50ish... Just tell them you bought it and need to drive it home... don't tell them sydney unless they ask and you should get away with it.. and drive it up dude..

Try "Carmovers" you'll find them at directory assistance. I used them to get a car from Melbourne to Brissy and ended up being $500 flat. Great service and the best price I could find. Goodluck with it I'd say about $300-$350

$600 was a previous price I got Melbourne-Sydney door to door. Sure you might better it but an unreg car presents difficulties And yes it might be cheaper to fly down etc etc but it's much more convenient if you don't have to
