Hey guys, I bought my vl with water injection on it? what's ur opinion on this cheap cooling method.. seems to work ok. have no intercooler yet and can run car up to 14 psi.. it injects the water just after the airflow metre.

Well if its just after ur airflow meter it will mean its b4 ur turbo. It may work good now but it will destroy the compressor blades. Water is hard and after a while(long time) will wear away ur compressor blades.

what if it was placed to inject just before the plenum chanmber?

That would be better for your turbo as the water isn't rubbing ur compressor wheel away. The intake air will probably be a bit hotter but as the water isn't going through ur turbo.
