As you may or may not know, I am now on air in Adelaide at the new Triple M from 2-6pm Mon-Fri.
It would be great if the people of Adelaide could throw some feedback my way regarding the station, do you like the new sound, or hate it?

love it, i've been switching between Triple M and SAFM over the past few months after the Mrs killed the tape player.
I don't really like the 'Jams' show but it's just not my style of music. But to hear Nine Inch Nails - Closer at 3am when I was driving home was great, keep up the good work.

Morepsi...i was going to pm you about this, i love the new tunes but there are a few comments.....in my opinion there it too much "doof doof" and r+b music, the other day i heard Audiosalve with a bloody 'doof doof' beat, what the hells with that?
Heard 'Killing in the Name' by RATM the other day, that was awesome!
How about playing more older alternative tunes....old Grinspoon, You Am I, Tool, Jebediah, Shihad, Regurgitator, Incubus and Deftones etc etc...stuff that isnt played on any radio station anymore, you would get heaps of listeners. Triple J has gone to the dogs lately
I would have to agree with Jaytee. The variety we have seen at Big Day Out over the years is what I want to hear. JJJ has gone up S*** creek the past couple of years, probably because of all the government cutbacks. Leave the Doof to Fresh.
I really love not having to listen to footy heads in the morning TRYING to be funny!
Great feedback, appreciate it, I'll pass it all along to the Music Director, the common thoughts are less to be less repetitive, and play more variety of rocking songs. I guess with any new venture there's bugs to be ironed out.

i listen to it at work, only problem is there is to much doof like everyone has said, and in general, im sick of the song P.i.m.p. as it is plaed every 23 seconds

one question, do you guys play the same songs in the same order between those hours? cos im sure that the same songs are played in the same order, like, whenever i hear that new pink song, the next song is that new blink song etc.

They are never in the same order, it's just that your brain will associate some songs with others that may in fact be 10 songs apart, but because you heard them together yesterday you'll ask yourself that question.
The playlist is being expanded as we speak, the main reason for the repetition to begin with is to establish with our listeners what they can expect.
That and you don't have to wait all day to hear your favourite song.
Another point, while it seesm like we are playing the same songs, we are repeating artists more than songs.
But all thoughts and opinions will be passed along to the music director.
Soon there will be a section on the website titled "ASK JC"
He's the music director and he'll be able to answer all questions regarding music.
