Yeah i was wondering who in the melbourne area deals with fitting bodykits. I currently will be purchasing a vl aero kit and would like to fit it to my vl calais but need to know who and where the companies are. Also would like prices for the fitting and how long it will take to fit one. Cheers

If i ever got a kit put on my calais id go stright to AutoTechnique.. They are the best around.. Give them a Call and im sure they will be able to give you a ruff price over the Phone.. There Number is: 9763 1195 And they also have a website.. http://www.autotechnique.com.au If you want the kit to look good these are the guys to talk to.. They restore HDT cars all the time and are used to working on nuts cars.. There the only people id trust... Rob Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

From past experience, Autotechnique definately. Can cost up to $1000 for fitting - depending on how bad/good condition the kit is in. Mine took about 2 weeks to fit.

Thanks for all your help guys, i think i might give them a ring and see what i can get done. I live in shepparton so it looks like i'll be without a car for a bit. But i suppose it'll be worth it in the end. Cheers

Rowville is in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Think of Knox, Ferntree Gully, Scoresby, etc. - A lonnng way from Shepparton. Maybe try some of the Northern Suburb workshops (I'm not too farmiliar with those). Ask SirGeo as I think he lives around that area, and has an AERO kit fitted VL as well.

Well, I've had my whole turbo motor rebuilt by Mario at Autotechnique, and everyone who I've recommended to go there have come out satisfied. He may charge a bit more than some other places, but he takes pride in his work, and treats your car as if it were his own. It's hard to find a good, and especially... trustworthy mechanic these days, and so Mario is the only guy this side of the city I'd take my ride to.

go to autotechnique and while you are there, pop next door and check out whise audio. if your looking for top quailty audio gear they manufacture it. better than anything you have heard before but it is pricey. these guys are about to explode onto the market and are definately the benchmark. but dont forget to pick up your car afterwards, if you can still afford to

Yeah i've heard that some of these do kits but i havent seen their quality of work. I wouldnt mind having a look at some cars that they fitted to, i might go check out r + d, i forgot about them. When i get it all completed i'll post some pics of it up. Cheers to all that helped.
