Scuse me for thinking that all you people with blow off valves that run a stock or near stock turbo are a bunch of wankers . If you run big boost and horsepower, yes i agree you may need em. but for you average clown that owns these small to medium cars its a complete joke. Sounds like i should go and strap a 2lt coke bottle under my bonnet of my VLT and open it up when under pressure, same sound, and alot cheaper!! I run a mild RB30T with 12psi and NO blow off valve. Sounds ALOT better and goes just a good. PPPPFFFFFFFTT to that Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well well well!!!!!!!!! lol It is debatable to whether or not BOV are benificial on a stock or near stock turbo setup. Each to there own though, if they want to make a "Cool" sound with one or use it for performance reasons, it is there choice. I have a stock turbo setup with no BOV and from what i have read and asked on here and to others, there is really no need for one. I don't know if they really do help or not, and the only way to find out is if you dyno a vlt without a BOV and then with a BOV. But then there are people that say that BOV help the turbo's performance life by venting the extra gasses and not back against the turbo. I dunno........

Yes, well welcome to our forum for starters, and thanks for the educated words of advice. I think perhaps you have mistaken us for FastFours or Hot4's forum maybe, or else a group of people who care? Remind me to go tell all my mates with their FACTORY bov fitted rb25det's that because they arent running 164705480kW atw that they are wankers. Douche.

Sixes99, first post and already your causing a ruckus. I suggest you read up on BOVs and why they are there and what they do compared to what people claim. Had you said that WHY you need a bov, and what the advtanges/disadvantages are in different turbo setups, perhaps people might have answered your questions a little more sincearly. Obviously your just a troll with nothing better to do than to mouth off on a public forum, kicking up a stink. Your on warning pal, and people with your kind of attitude dont last long on these forums. Thread locked because I cannot be bothered explaining BOVs, their nature and for causing a fuss, because your an ignorant fellow with no communication skills what so ever. GO to MCCR, Fast4s and Hot4s if you want to mouth off. This is not the place for venting YOUR self proclaimed 'wisdom'. edit: sp Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
