I use ICE Ignition leads. Very very good and always reliable bro. I used to use Top Gun - they were fine.

They are not all the same. I just happened to be talking to KP Performance about this yesterday while having my car dyno'd. He said he stocks NGK and they are very good he also has a few others but would not recommend them. His opinion on the quality of Top Gun is that they are the Teac's of leads and should never be used on performance cars, they just have good marketing campaign. Undoubtably there will be ppl who disagree but after speaking to this guy I have a great deal of respect for him as he knows his sh*t.

was wondering if anyone has heard of SPITFIRE?? for those in sydney.. i was checking out Autojoy in castle hill... they have a display of spitfire ignition leads compared to some other brand...and u press a button and it runs a charge of electricity thru them both... and at the end ther is a bolt... the other brand has like white electricity coming out reaching the bolt...and spitfire's is like BRIGHT BLUE... demonstrating its charge is apparently wayy better.. got quoted $160 for em to be put in a vlct ... what you guys rekon??

Well, my ICE Ignition leads cost $200, so yes.. they are up there in price. But ofcourse I didn't pay that for them cuz you'd be stupid to if you did. Got 'em for $30, had 'em for 2 years, and there hasn't been a problem since.

There is one guy Kevin Potts, who is about 40, wears his shorts pretty damn high with shirt tucked in and had a don burke beard happening. But he is excellent, he will actually spend more time 'educating you' about things, learnt more in that one day then I had in several years about ems systems, the man likes to talk.If people doubt his experience have a look through a couple of issues of zoom and the like, you will see his name pop up on a few damn good cars.

Before your reach the limits of your leads, i think the stock ignition coil on the VL would be suffering rather than the leads. Ive got topgun 8mm blues, they seem to do the job well enough. Regardless of leads, if you dont have them orgaised and seperated, you might get stray spark comming out of the leads and earthing to the head or other lead even, so investing in quality lead seperators and making sure that nothing touches the leads is a good idea. ICE leads seem to be the bees knees as far as leads go with the 10sub second vl crowd.
