ive noticed on the dipstick of my n/a auto that its only got 1 range no hot and cold, just wondering if im supposed to be checking the oil when its hot or when its cold ??

Mate for the Gearbox you check it after the car has been running for a while...you then check it when the car is in neautral or park gear...
