Hey guys, I just started to plan my custom VL boot. Just bought the appropriate MDF and done most of the measurements...
This week I will be measuring the MDF and cutting it into the right sizes... I'll let you know how it goes in a few days time.

Hey fellas, I'm cutting the pieces right now and will start to assemble the box, I will take some photos as well Let's just say it's not your "usual" boot setup where the subs are stuffed behind the back seats... It's where the subs face UP instead...
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Ok fellas, today I cut all the pieces to size and placed it together and it holds up alright (not perfect). I will use some filler to fill in the little gaps in between the bits that don't match up right.

12-11-03, 21:35 GMT+10#18 fiber glass is a good way to seal and strengthen a box. Just have some fiberglass matting to use aswell because the fiberglass resin isn't as strong without it.
Is fiberglass filler the stuff with the matting in it already, the kind of stuff thats similar to bog.

14-11-03, 12:24 GMT+10#19 Heys, I've finished assembling my box and cut out the holes for the subs... I will put a few photos up within the next few days... Screws are about 5-6 inches apart and glue was put on the edges before the panels were assembled together.
