OK... Need lots of help. Im looking at turboing the VS, looking at getting around 180-200kw at the wheels somehow.. Or more if Possible. Hopefully the car goes in this week to get a ****load of stuff done. The guy has guarnteed me 130kw at the wheels.. BUT, if I get the chip and cam this week, then am I gonna need to get it switched again for the Turbo? OK, Im planning on slowly collecting everything Im gonna need to turbo it. So.. I guess I need a list. Will the Hi-Flowed T3 do the job for the turbo? I kinda need to know exactly what im looking for. Thanks if anyone can help? Also, guess im going to have to upgrade the brakes and strengthen the auto or something? Looking for estimate prices, 2nd hand is all cool.. Travis

OK.. Well this is teh Stage 2 Kit Turbonetics T4/3 Hybrid turbocharger. 64mm throttle body. Ceramic coated intake pipe. Ceramic coated exhaust manifold and dump pipe. Oil cooler & braided teflon hoses. Bosch 775 injectors. Hi-flow in-tank fuel pump rising rate fuel regulator. Magnecor KV 85 spark plug leads. 180F Hi-flow thermostat. SF10B spark plugs (1.1mm gap) All clamps and fitting hardware. Blow off valve/s. Re-mapped ECU (VR auto, VS, VT, VX & VY) Obviously, the idea was to get all the crap 2nd hand, or cheaper.. Decent Turbo that will do the Job? A lot of that stuff, like the plugs, the leads, the throttle body is already done, and the Re-Mapped ECU gets done at my local shop, as for the rest..

You won't find many used turbo manifolds and dump pipes for a VS... they'd be as rare as rocking horse ****. Everything else should be fine. Oh and just take your throttle body to be bored out.

For a 3.8 litre engine I would be looking around for a T04 turbo then get it matched to the specs of the engine (i.e. capacity,CFM rating,RPM,etc).

Have you considered dropping the V6 Supercharged engine in? It may be a **** load less effort and cost. You can get pulley kits to boost them to about 10-12psi, and apparently if you change the rockers, u'll get about 230+fwkw, which is in your target zone. If memory serves me right, there were a few Supercharged VS's made. you may be able to get a factory one. Would prob save you many thousands of dollars.

Was looking at that, but then I think the potential of a supercharger stops at a point, but a turbo's power can keep going the more you add to it.. Powerdyne Inc. 2 9 225ex $ 5,354.00 Vortech Inc. 3 6 - 20 240+ex $ 7,476.00 But the stage 3 turbo kit from Commsport is only $7900.. So i'd still prefer the turbo, and doenstr it put less strain on the engine?
