Have u still got the factory Uerovox radio/cassette unit still in the car or not?
If so u will have to remove the top long part of the dash to get the two steel brackets out.
One is at the back of the H/U: L-bracket that has 2 screws in the top that goes through the sub frame of the dash and into the top of the H/U, and also a screw and nut that is at the back(its a tight squeese to get it out directly in front of the heater core); the other bracket is at the front and has another two screws on the top.
Once the two brackets r removed itll just slip out and ull have to either chop the H/U wires from the loom or unplug it further back. Most people cut them as its easier to adapt the other brands by soldering the wires together.
The rest is just a matter of following the correct wire color. And make sure u run an extra wire from the battery to the constant 12V supply, otherwise u wont get any power! (Vl's run their radio power via the same power from the ignition).
If u get stuck just PM me and ill explain better.
Good Luck...

If its not a stock one it should be easier to take out. It depends where and how its been mounted in. Most stereo places just screw a strap to the heater core and rivet the cradle with the head unit in it.
To change the wires dont worry about it unless ur putting the stock one back in or changing brands.

cheers mate, i did it on monday.
the deck came out to easily. as i said in another thread, the audio shop that put it in did a dodgey job, all i had to do to get it out was pull of the bit of plastic around the deck, i cant remember what its called, its the thing that fills in the gap around the face, so it looks tidier.
anyways, its the last time i be lazy with audio installations, i do a better job, its just that i was lazy and couldnt be ****ed doing it myself.
note to self: dont let the car shop with the blue cursive writing as a logo do installations again
