Sometime today, my brothers brand new Garrett GT3540 turbo was stolen from the his car out the front of the workshop. Someone filling up fuel has obviously seen the car with the turbo sitting in the front seat (for not too long either) and has come back and flogged it, straight in front of the workshop (we are very good mates with the owner/workers).
Were not too worried about the cost (as workshop is replacing it) but the fact that some dirty kunt has a 700hp $2500 turbo for free after my brother has worked his arse off for it.
The turbo has a completely high polished front housing, almost mirror finish. If anyone gets offered a turbo like this in Sydney (western Sydney) let me know, because if we find the person who stole this, they will be eating food out of a straw for the rest of their lives. I will try and upload a pic soon.
vlred, I wasn't being sarcastic, my post was dead set, so I think you misunderstood me.
Im saying it's good that he posted it up so no ****head has a chance to try to sell it to one of us.
I took it as sarcastic til I got past the **** too.. But then it turned unsarcastic, the more people that know about it the less chance the guy has to make any money

cosworthpower: seems my brother checked yours out before I could log on and see yours for sale! Word travels fast on OZPF! Good luck with your sale.
My brother is spewin about not recording the serial numbers, cause that would be the only real proof if we came across a suspect sale. Me thinks it is gone for good. But you never know.
hyperguy: ill send you the pic when I get home from work tue morning, was just too busy today.
Here is a pic of OMY30L brothers brand new Garrett GT3540 turbo that was stolen from his car from out the front of the workshop.
Hope you find the p***k.
Cheers Mick
