For those who care or remember RooF's/SILVERVLV8 old VL V8 BT1 was stolen a couple of weeks ago and was in a high speed chase and ended up with a head on with a cop car about 25-30km's for where it was stolen and was written off. The car was sold to a mate of Atmo3L's/Oldgolds from Kris (all the info i have posted has come from atmo3l) and he was trying to sell it coz he bought a VN with grp A running gear. The car had a 355 stroker and recond g/box,a 90L alloy drop tank a ****ing loud exhaust and a few other mods. I only saw it go a couple of times and i heard it but it sounded ****ing good and i have been told it was bull**** fast. It had heaps of money spent on it, sad to see it was stolen coz it was a nice car.

Yes, the machine was stolen & written off in a police chase, apparantly had a head-on with a police car(!) and is a complete mess. The owner may or may not be buying the shell, I'm not sure, I heard he was. Having been in a head on, I'm not sure how much damage the engine sustained, but I think the buyback price was close to $1000. It had a Harrop stroker crank in it too, almost brand new. I think it was a 383 as well. And as Sacha said, yeah, it was bullsh!t fast. I'll get pics if I can.

yes she went well (pulled 13.5 with old setup) would of been into 12s for sure with latest. ahhh not another nice vl taken off the roads such a waste do we have a picture or sketch of the person who nicked it? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
