The other day i was driving through the city with a full car, I hit a bottomless pot hole and now my LHF shock is blown. I bought these shocks brand new bout 6 months ago and now there screwed. The guy at rare spares told me when i bought them that they were compadible with my ride height (lowered 2.5"). The Shocks were monroe GT Gas, Ive spoken to some other suspension distributors and they recon the monroe GT Gas is only ment for stock ride height. Anyway I am on the market for a new set of front shocks for 2.5" lowered springs, Apparently Bilsteins are the only company that make shocks to suit lowered VL's. Does anyone know any other companies that sell shocks for lowered VL's. (that wont blow out when i hit potholes)

i have a pair of monroe gt gas shocks in the front of my lowered car and they are fine. I think they make them in standard ride height as well as lowered. companies that make shocks for the vl include koni, pedders and monroe. there are a heap of them but i can't think of them at the moment. If u want a realy gud set get a pair of koni. i have koni ajustables in the rear and they are great.
