so i get in the vl for work this morning and the windows are frozen over being a lazy lazy man I cant be bothered getting out of the car and pouring a bucket of water so I go to use the wipers. They get stuck to the thik layer of ice and pretty much dont move again. Now I have no wipers or indicators or rear demister. The wipers/indicators are on the same fuse so I replaced it but nothing changed. Anybody have an idea if it fried something? H E L P p l e a s e!

From the sounds of that it must be a fuse, re-check all the fuses, having 3 seperate item stop says to me it will be something very simple Think basic!!!

If the wipers jammed or froze to the screen, it means it would basically become a dead short in the wiper motor and would have loaded the circuit up until the fuse blew. Just make sure the wipers arent frozen to the window replace the fuse and all should be ok. Even spray some electrical contact cleaner in the fuse holder as they tend to build up with dirt and give bad contact. Mick
