Hey I'm after a recent release of the VicRoads high powered vehicles list. If anyone knows where to get it on the net that would be good, as the tools at VicRoads gave me a hard copy of the 1999 edition......
I heard there is a more recent edition in circulation.
Cheers. 8)

They go by factory power output figures .. a modified car wont get done for power over ps limit (so long as it wasnt over from factory) .. but you might get inspected for your mods, of course ..
But basically cops radio in your car, dispatch tells em if its on the list of high power to weight ratio cars .. if it is and youv got p plates on it, on go the sirens ..
Your average copper woudlnt know half the list of cars on there .. just the common ones p platers drive ..

So you use the scanner you have in your car, and if they radio in your plates, you tramp it

04-08-03, 12:55 GMT+10#12 I'm less worried bout cops & more worried about insurance. My mate had a VH SL/E with a factory 308 on his P's. (That my VN V6 would cane!!) It had full comp. insurance and he had a small accident. The insurance company shafted him and didn't pay up 'cos they rekon the car exceeded the "capacity to weight" ratio and was illegal to drive!!! Dodgy (unts!!
I found out the insurance company was right but why the fcuk did they insure him in the first place? Money hungry *******s!!!
