i would just like to say the reason why sooooooo many vl's (turbos, calais turbos etc) go misssing is cause the ****s are sooo easy to get into eg. a lot of other vl keys fit other vls etc i suggest (if ppls LOVE there vls SOOOO much they should put kill switches (HIDDEN) keyless entry etc just a suggestion who agrees? ps. i do not steal cars i have just made my **** heap theif prove cheers

Its because there so common, and alot of arsewholes who cant afford to build cars hav to steal others to get ahead. And alot of people with VLs hav alarms, immobalisers, kill switches, and even take there ignition coils of all together, but if they are professionals it doesnt matter they will find away!

In a Car Yard? They sold it to a dealer?, or was the dealer in on the whole thing?

nope, while it was still a stock calias, it had just had a fresh spray job and had a set of nice rims and was lowered so i must admit it looked preety neat. It was towards the end off 2001... They had taken off my plates and were telling the caryard guy they were given it as a payment from someone for money owed. Lucky for me the caryard guy was an honest bloke and rang the cops. I asked him if it happens often and he said atleast two or three times a year.

I reckon burning is the worst.... at leats if it goes in parts is not 'destroyed'. Burning cars is just such a waste. But hey, even better not to have your car stolen...

I've got my ford parked outside my house and my VL in the garage with a mazda 323 blocking the driveway. I've been in Melbourne for a few weeks and haven't seen my cars. Hope their still there when I come bak.
