Hey, My mate has just moved from Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne to Western Suburbs of Melbourne, and said as to date has been unable to find a decent Mechanic for his VLT this side of the Westgate bridge?? Can anyone recommend any good mechanics for VLT's in the west?? A guy in Werribee we were chattin to has a pretty quick RX turbo and said he goes to Geelong?? We didn't think there would be much down that way?? Will he have to go back to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne for a decent service and tune?? Also has a spare $1500 -$2000 for an intercooler to be fitted to car. Any places in the west?...or is he better to go to somewhere well known (like in the eastern suburbs of melb) for the cooler, when spending that kind $$$$. Anyone can steer us in the right direction, greatly appreciated.

That guy probably went to dyson rotary. It isn't far from west to east so just go to his normal mech. Kingy

Yeah i know it ain't that far to travel from east to west but it would be convient to find someone on the west,for times when things go wrong unexpectedly. Seriously we went with him the other saturday around and only found one place in Hoppers Crossing ..but they specailize in WRX and seemed to know little (or not have much of an interset in VLT's). Just amazes us that there isn't some sort of turbo performance shop on the west side of melb!!!!!!

Mike's Head Tech, on Maddox Rd Williamstown Nth. Got my work done their. Fully recomend Its next to a Wreckers and a Panel shop. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'm in werribee and i'll tell you now there is bugger all around, one mechanic cracked my head, the other 5 i went to didn't even want to touch it cause they didn't have a clue what to do so i went to Highpoint Automotive and he has fixed it all up done a great job and when ever i go there he always has a vl or two getting fixed. he knows his stuff

hey mate live in werribee i took my n/a vl to midas car care center, at the local plaza, and they first gave me a free inspection, so i tried to do it my self, not a good idea, too it back they did it all and it was pretty cheap too, there pretty good i was eva the moon, good luck Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Fitting a cooler isn't hard dude Also, there is not many places around this area that deal with turbo's, let alone VLT's that I can highly recommend. Every place has their pros and cons.. not one place is perfect I do the servicing myself, but anything else.. I get a mate who owns one and knows his stuff to have a look at it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A few decent mechanics that know anything about VLT's around here are people who do back yard jobs... apart from that theres not much... GkTech are in hoppers if hes wants a cooler ect but apart from that best place for mechanics and tune is cambellfield

Purfect tune in Werribee do all the work on our drift car, work car and my Sunday car... They deal with most of the Jap cars around this side of town as well as a few VLT's. We have intercooler kits for only $499 at the moment (pre-buy). We're located in Hoppers Crossing. Greg

honestly you have the big 3 names in VL supporting the site (JPC, Rajab, Bresciani's) and even from footscray area it isnt that far out to north melb to get your car mods done and everyone knows from the cars they produce they know what they are doing.. Just my 2 cents its either that or you can find someone like JSPEC and rip you off......
