I just bought myself a new air filter assembly for my VK Commodore, to give her a bit more air to breathe. However, the old air intake cover (ugly mother of a thing) had a few bits on it for the emissions vacuum hoses to plug into. Now, I have little to no idea what exactly these switches control (apart from emissions, which is a pretty broad term), or how they work, but I know that they can be disabled / removed (and yes, I know of the legality of doing such a thing). I was hoping that somebody could throw a bit of advice my way as to what side-effects (good or bad) removing this may be, and hopefully, how do to it. Any advice would be appreciated Cheers, synoptica Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
