just a thought i had that could stall theives a bit longer wen trying to rip ur car wen uve parked it for a while and u no the cars not gna be attended for a while heres a few simply things u could do that will reduce the risk of it actually goin missing. hey sure they mite break in and steal a deck or cds or just search the car but at least at the end of the day ull still have ur vl in 1 peice hopefully. 1) pull ur fuel pump relay out of the fuse box along with the fuel pump fuse. 2) pull the plug out of the crank angle senser and just dummy fit the plug on top so it still sorta looks connected. 3) pull the ignition lead out of the coil pack and tuck it in under sumfing. 4) pull out an injecter plug or 2 5) if u have fuel pumps in the boot then just pull a plug of em like the positive side, so even if they still figure out sum of these things they wont think of that. if ur really keen do all these sorta things and i garuntee u they will give up on stealing it or if u really cant be bothered at least 1 of these things will stall em and turn em off ur VL. these sorta tricks have worked for a lot of my mates and they lived on to be happy that there vl had remained there appart from busted door locks. if i have talked for to long sorry its just that im peaking hard whilst im typeing this and my teeth r grinding to the max, 8O 8O 8O Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

doesn't stop a tow truck though... but anyting that keeps them in the car trying to start it makes the risk of getting caught bigger...

That's when they give up trying to take the whole car, and end up taking the 30 cent's sitting there, which you've been busting your ball's saving for a Soft Serve from McDonald's......

The best VL theif, would be an owner of a VL who has done a lot of work to his car. Thats why im really cautious of suspect VL owners in my area and people that tend to look at my car for a little longer than a glance. When a theif walks into a car park and sees a VL, he thinks 'i own this car, its too easy to break into and its mine for the taking'. The best thing you can do is avoid hot spots for theift, such as some of those 'secure' car parks. If you want to test how secure they are, park your car, leave and come back looking really sus, trying to break into your own car, hanging around the car for longer than usual, pretend that yourin, set off the alarm and see the response, pop your bonnet etc etc. If it takes longer than 5 mins for them to get there, forget it, your car is gone! Only benefit is if they have video footage of the persons who tried steeling your car, but then again, your looking at a low quality blurred image. They call them security cameras, yet you cant even recognise who the hell is on the tape. Relays.. unless you take ALL the relays out, you can use the same relay for your headlights as the fuel pump, same goes for fuses. Any detterant is a good idea, and i tend to go nuts taking bits and peices with me from the engine bay amongest other things.

no need to pull the coil out with u like i said if u do any of the items above i garuntee it will atleast give ur car a 70% chance of being there wen u get back

What about the distro rotor. It's only a small item, but it prevents the *******s making off with your vehicle.
