Ok guys i got a 1982 datsun stanza thats been defected for a little over a year now and i finally decided to do something with it. its been running most of the year but now it just wont kick over at all. i've noticed some stuff when you trying to turn it on. on OFF on the ignition the clock works fine. on Accesorys, the radio and clock work fine, but then when i turn the parks on, the radio cuts out and i heard an awful whining noise coming from the speaker. Then when i turn the low beam/high beam on, everything cuts out including the clock. in the ON position on the ignition nothing works at all Then when i turn it to start, again nothing works and it doesnt even try to turn over, or tick or anything. I know for a fact that the battery is perfectly fine and have tried more then one to get it started. Any help with getting this thing started would be awesome, cos i really am unsure of what to try next? anything i should be looking at in particular?
