I need HELP very badly! I'm trying to set up a new pioneer mp3/cd player i got. I have removed the stock factory head unit (which took ages, dam thing was impossible to get out!). The colour coded cables I got with my pioneer head unit are different to the cables that my vl has. I have a pink cable?!, yellow (which I presume is for the battery), a black cable which i presume is for earth, black and white cable, a light green cable, light blue cable, white cable, and a grey cable. Any help, or sites I can visit, would be very much appreciated!! -jayme

Don't use the factory wires at all. Run a new 12v line into the car for the head unit. Earth it, and believe it or not but it will work. With the new Pioneers, that's all that's required. Run all new wires for the speakers and all will be sweet Nick
