vk ecu gmh part number

I own a vk efi commodore and the ecu GMH part number is 92024124 and my mates vk efi commodore his ecu GMH part number is 92017803 Why are they different, what is the difference in the ecu's I thought that all vk efi commodores were the same Thanks
