2 different companys have 2 diff box dimensions

Hi all, i am trying to design a box for 2 pioneer TSW304C subs. ive just rang doran pro audio and they say i should have 1.5ft3 per sub - sealed Sound master car audio say i should have 1.25ft3 per sub - sealed as a first time designer/builder i am weary of what volume i should really have... 2 known car audio specialists both recommend different sized boxes... What are peoples thoughts on this? which size box should i go for? thanks
