Hi I am just wondering what you all think about the Fm Modulated Cd stackers, I have a decent head unit which doesnt accept cd stackers and dont want to spen a fortune to upgrade to a stacker. i have found an Alpine 6 stacker Fm Modulated one for$150 just wondering if they have any interference with the sound or whatsoever 8O Post back with any comments

I personally don't like them because everything is seperated and FM radio tends to cut out some of the quality of the music. My dad got a 10stacker one in his VT SS (with the stock stereo) and it sounds alright Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

any transmitted sound via FM will lose quality, most FM processors in headunits can only decode FM at a signal/noise ratio of ~70/80db compared to 100/110+ of cd decoders. if u have a "basic" system then u mite not notice the dif, but if u have some good splits and a sub u probably will. depends how much of an "audiophile" u are really
