stupid question....... maybe????

hey guys i dunno wethere this is stupid question but can u put a bov on a turbo diesel???? OSK Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you can put a BOV on anything. weather it will work or not is another question. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I wonder how much boost a turbo diesel would run? I'd say it would work, it would have to, aslong as there is sufficiant boost to make it go ptttssssssssshhhhhhhhh

osk yeah u can a mate has a land cruiser , it has just on 10 pound and a bov , quite funny actually to see or hear this thing vent off air.

Also make not that not many deisels have throttle bodies, no TB = no vacuum, and that = no way to control the BOV!

The bin truck that comes to work has a BOV, goes off about 10 times when he's lifting the bin up, sounds weird as on a truck.

You will probably find that the noise from the truck when lifting is not a BOV, its most likely to be bursts of air from the pnematic's on the controls of the hydrulic pumps.

It is a BOV of sorts but not on the engine. Just blows off air from the brake system.

Its deffinatly not the brake system, could be what JET-6 is saying, but its while he is revving the engine to get the bin up thats why I figured it was a BOV.
