Does anyone know if you can still buy gear shift locks? The ones I am refering to are bolted to the transmission tunnel next to the gear shifter and physically locks the gear shift in a set position. It had a heavy U bolt that locks into the chunk of metal plate that rose up beside the gear selector from the transmission tunnel. It used a round key, like a club lock key setup, that unlocked the u bolt. A mate had one in his calais, although this was 8 years ago. He bought it in parramatta. Anyone remember these? I want one!

Yep, the second one there looks almost the same as the one my mate had. He had it in his calais, but it was a manual box and it worked quite well. The body of the lock was on the pasenger side and had a small red led light on the top as well.
