My mate owns a VN commodore, and a few weeks ago he drove through a pretty big puddle. Now, the car is hard to start, it won't rev high and it feels like it has lost a lot of power, but it doesn't feel like it is missing. The problem is worse when the car heats up. So far, he has checked/replaced coil pack, leads, plugs, throttle position sensor, injectors, fuel pressure, dfi module. Anyone had this problem before? He's already paid $150 to one place, and they told him that they couldn't find what was wrong.

Same thing happened to my bro, it was like it had 5 cylinders, he replaced the module and coil pack and everything was sweet. Series 1 VN's had crap coil packs and got water into em easily, replace it with a series 2 pack and it should b alright
