I've got a pretty good pioneer head unit but it's a couple of years old. I'm about to install a 4 channel amp but the problem is the head unit only has a left and right out. I figure I can just split the signals to get the 4 channels I need but then I won't have any control over the balance from front to rear via my head unit. I was thinking of using the HI level input but my mate says it won't sound as good. I'm new to car audio so any help with this would be sick. Thanks
