Did anyone else know about this. Apparently TWR have gone into recievership. And Holden has bought out TWR Australia, the company currently managing Holden Racing Team operations.

Tom Walkinshaw Racing have gone into receivership?? Didn't see that one coming.

Sports Tonight did mention something along those lines. Apparently Tom Walkingshaw's involvement with Formula One has gone bad, and he's lost quite a bit of money.

****... i really didn't see that one coming. I mean i knew his F1 team weren't great but i didn't see receivership on the cards.

The HRT team is pocket change to him. It'd be interesting to see just how good the HRT team would be without the experience and expertise of Mr.Walkingshaw.

TWR's influence on HRT is minimal, there will be very little to no affect on the team because of this. The only worry is that under the rules, a manufactuer can't own a team, so Holden can't own HRT. There is a hearing on this matter tonight, so expect a new owner of HRT to be announced this afternoon.

Same with K Mart racing and the other Walkinshaw teams. Should be interesting.

They will be racing this weekend, special compensation, although a new owner will have to be found before Adelaide, anyone got a few spare mil and want to buy a race team with me??

How many mil we talkin... my boss could do with a racing team more than a bloody night club. Unfortunatly i was serious. I was wondering about this weekend. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Unfortunatly I think it will be sold to someone inside there, probably John Crennan.
