Hey people just a quick questing. My sub makes the boot lid of my cur rumble it sounds like a thunderstorm in there anyone know how to stop this thanks.
also try spraying some expanding foam in the braces on the boot lid. be careful when using this as it does expand alot and if you use too much it may warp your bootlid. also check the spotwelds that hold the bracing to the lid, these may have blown so use some silicon here. One that is done, then use some doundening matting or paint, or both
that was the stuff EXPANDAFOAM from Bunnings that **** does wonders use small omount inside the braces and u wont need anything else if u want u may apply a coat of spray tar to quiet all the sound
check the cross members they man have rusted away from the boot, the whole thing sounds tinny even when you shut your boot? if so you can reweld it or something.. i just bought a new boot cause mine had a big dint in it anyway..
Well my joints are rusted i put a bit a rust kill on it didnt do much but anyway. tryed geting sillicon in it didnt work will have to get some of that expandi foam. sounds good.
