hey is the engine bay on a VK big enough to fit a standard VN engine in it with the Vn's 5 speed? Also is this allowed (engineer has to say its ok) Also to make the change over what has to be altered.... Battery doesnt fit if the VN goes in i think but is there any other problems. Reason is i can get a cheap VN engine and trany and this is just a thought i had. Thanks any help appriciated

I thought of doing the same conversion but the more I looked into it the more the more I got put off. Too much mucking about . Go to RTA and they will give a list of engineers inyour area (yes car must get an engineers certificate) and talk to one of them about what they want. Sell and buy a VN unless you want the VK
