Gday, i have a 5sp manual VR commodore and i was told by a mate that 5 spds are rare? is that true?? some guy said id get about 12000 for it. seems a bit much to me as i only payed 10500 2 years back. Everythings in good nick and stuff, anyone got any ideas how much roughly itd fetch? thanks

you should get what you paid for it, but then again ive seen them go for around 8k, theirs no harm in asking 12k if you sell good on you if not keep dropping till you find a buyer

Yep as 351 has said, for a VR V6 (?) 5 speed $8-9k would be the sort of you could expect, and im baseing that on a car in excellent condition.
