I am trying to fit series 2 calais seats to a 86 exec series 1. The problem is the seat brackets are different. Q1 - How can I fit the calais seats to the exec??? Q2 - Do I need different/new brackets to fit the seats??? Attached some pics of the exec seats... Thanks.[/img] Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

those brackets shouldnt cause any worries , its just the foor floor bolts , which should all be the same

But the brackets that are on the current seats are part of the seats... they don't come off (that I know of). That last pic, the bracket you can see is the part that reclines when you turn the dial in the first pic. It's as if the calais seats have different brackets??? Cause the back part on the calais has no where to bolt into currently - and that's my problem

The calais seats are just the base and the back. I thought I could just put them on the exec rails but the calais back has no where to bolt into... Here is a pic I got from the guy I bought them off... But they are basically the bottom of the seat and back that's it, no rails cause I heard they should just go straight on the exec ones, but where does that darn back part bolt into once the base is on the rails.... Here are some pics of the calais bottom and back. It must be missing a piece for the back to go onto the bottom as the bottom has no holes for the back to bolt into. Has any1 done this before that can help? or even a Calais owner who could help out... please. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
