I dunno, im not much of a buff on VT trim levels or anything, but latly since iv been driving to work (300kms/day, 4 days week .. fun fun .. I've been seeing quite a lot of VTs .. most are the normal look .. red plastic across the whole rear end, with the number plate mounted against the plastic .. Series 1 and 2, calais and non calais it seems .. However, some ive seen, and theres been more the more i look for em .. with the lights upside down (taillights and reverse lights swapped) and body colour metal in the middle where the number plate mounts .. almost looks like some kind of retarded VT and VX cross .. definitly not VX tho .. most certainly VT, but I can't work out what itd be .. seen it on Series 1 and 2 (well, had a "Series II" badge) and calais and non calais .. some kind of aftermarket lights? or something different? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah, Could be the Monaro tailights with a VX Centerpiece? I think Monaro lights are interchangeable with the standard lights.

Yes the Monaro lights are interchangeable between the VT and VX and Holden designers are pretty pissed about people installing Monaro lights into the regular family hack so I have been told by a friends dad that works at Holden.

I know a guy who has a VT SS wsitched his to monaro lights and he got made to change them back because of the centre piece on the vt. But im sure it would be ok on the vx because there is no centre lights.

These ones iv seen looked all complete .. had vx style body metal/colour around the number plate .. i dunno, but i prefer the VT look to these monaro lights on the vt's .. i like the red right across .. better if you ask me .. leave the monaro lights where they belong . on the monaros Woudlnt monaro lights be rather expensive tho? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I agree. They probably wouldent look that good on VT / VX Executives, Berlina's or the Calais, But they would look good on the S and SS models. Thats just my opinion anyway. 8) They probably would be expensive. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
