G'day
I recnetly brought a car stereo. It is not installed yet, but will be in the next month or so.
I was talking to a guy at TAFE who reckons his stereo is "fullsick" yeah whatever.
Anyway i told him about my stereo and he said that i won't sound that good, now sinice i have't got it installed it's got me worried, so i thought i'dd ask you people, as i assume that you would know more **** that this **** at TAFE.
I have:
A pioneer flip down dettach face headunit 4 by 50 watts
Kenwood 6" Splits with tweeters
Kenwood 7 * 10" Speakers
A 4 by 50 RMS Amp.
I listened to it before i brought it at HIFI supermaket, and it sounded really good.
Can i get your thoughts as this has got me worried now, what do you reckon of this system, will it keep me happy for a good while to come?
Cheers,
-Talor
Nah man, that should sound pretty nice
You could throw in a sub [and another amp] later on to make it better, but that combo will be good.

I've got a pair of the current series Kenwood 10x7's and theyr ****'n awesum mate .. even without a sub, they can move the car Finally coupled mine with a 12" Kenwood sealed sub and its perfect .. but even before the sub they rocked .. mounted on 12mm MDF custom parcel shelf, but I doubt they need that to still sound good

man i have a pioneer 4X50W h/u, some pioneer 6X9's pioneer 6" bullet splits and a pioneer 4X50W RMS amp, and the system sound really good...lots of clarity and volume!!!
I wouldn;t be worried about what ever that drop kick says...he's probly using akai or slam audio gear or something of that quality!!!!! (ie. crap.)
