Can someone tell me what is that piece of metal hanging in the middle of the vk efi air flow meter Is it possible that I exchange the vk ecu for the vl ecu and run a maf sensor What bosch jetronic did the vl commodore use Thanks

1. never seen inside one, id say it is the device that measures the air flow. 2. Are you serious? No..and it's a MAP sensor. 3. Jetronic is completely different to the VL system. The VL is hotwire injection. Because it uses a "hotwire" inside the airflow meter to measure air flow.

1.Could be one of 3 things depending what you're referring to. It could be the air flow meter flap, the dampening part of the air flow meter flap, or the air temperature sensor. 2. You could change computers, but you'd have to use the vl harness and sensors, and rechip the computer. Dave
