Anyone had any complaints or good storys about "Advance" brand extractors on a NA VL. I can get a set of these for around 200-300 fitted, and im just wondering if they are a decent header. Also with my 2 1/2 cat back single muffer exhaust and standard cat will i notice a reasonable increase in power for the price? Sound wise does it quiten or enhance the exhaust sound?

I have Advance headers on my VL, along with a 2.5" exhaust system. I'm pretty happy with them, my dad put them on about 2 years ago so I didn't really get the chance to feel the difference before and after I bought the car. They still look sweet as, no rust like other headers I have seen. The car revs a lot more freely and power comes on like the engine has a different grind cam in it, these are some comments from people that have been in my car. A friend got them on his Skyline and is very happy with the power difference compared to beforehand, when he only had cat-back 2.5" exhaust. Speaking from my experiences, go for it.

"The car revs a lot more freely and power comes on like the engine has a different grind cam in it" I agree and would add that you also get a crapload of more torque off the mark....as in about 10-15%
