when you buy a group A front bar, do you get the enitre thing (from the bottom to the bottom of the lights? or is it just an extension that clips on some how?
i went to www.ssv.com.au and found this
Quote:
FRONT SPOILER VL GRP A
Product code : 0023
VL HDT GROUP A FRONT SPOILER ( Fits over existing front bar)...................FREIGHT EXTRA
and i also saw on ebay just the bottom bit for sale.
anyone shed some light on this for me?

It bolts up to your standard front bar. When you buy it you dont get another standard front bar with it.
Spray painters generally hate to put these bumpers on, apparently a real bitch to get just right.

Don't think there is such a thing as "the whole thing"???
Mine went ok. Just take your time and it will pay off in the end!

Yeah, there is such thing. I saw an article in Street Commodores where they featured a white VL Exec and it had a signature group 3 bumper, and it was "the whole thing", i.e. nothing attached or glued on, etc.

The Signature series front bars, are the whole thing. look similar to the Group A, but a little different. These are around $500 (supply only) i think, genuine HDT only, no aftermarket.

11-02-03, 00:13 GMT+10#10 Fly_by_VL, I'm not sure if Holden would sell it, as its a HDT kit, but they may. I got my prices from ASV (Adelaide Special Vehciles) Try holden, them or maybe SSV.
